Traumatic experience since the admission process. It is long , 2 or 3 months, and inefficient. Actually, Monte Nido wanted to send my child to California even though my insurance is not covered in California state. $ 2700 daily treatment. Yes, it would be a problem for us financially. Several medical errors. I have everything from their portal documented. Even though they deleted from their portal. My child told me the nurse tried to draw blood with a wrong size syringe. Blood everywhere. No nursing report. Then, she tried again . Well, more blood everywhere As mentioned previously in other reviews, there is no communication with parents. Your opinion about your child treatment does not matter. Even when you bring recommendations from a pediatrician, dietitian. They will go against what you want for your child. Most medical providers are very inexperienced nurses, Dietitian, They are just starting their careers. Couselor said my child doesn't relate to others in a normal way. Be prepared to be judged. As mentioned in other reviews, they do not work together with parents. They go against pediatrician, other dietitians, and NP from another facility. Even if you ask to sign a paper to be responsible. NOPE. Their way is the only way. Search online their credentials, and you will see new graduates most of them. Also, make sure to read what is in their portal. Their daily report is very general. Vital signs and eat or did not eat. Basically, this is their daily report. Supposedly to be daily . Sometimes, I did not get it either. My child has OCD a lot of other kids with OCD. She got worse from her OCD. Some kids struggling from drugs withdraw. Toxic environment according to my child. My child was put in water restriction in Clementine. She got constipated. Clementine never told me about water restriction. My child was drinking water from the bathroom sink. The clinical director is very effective in convincing her program, which has quality care and safety elements. I pulled out my child from this program. 100% sure best decision. Only regret I did not do it earlier. Clementine does not have individualized treatment like they say on their website. I felt most weight gain. It is their goal. Be prepared to agree with obese BMI, which is ok. It is ok to go from one problem anorexia low weight to obesity. I would go from one problem to another problem. This facility is going to say clients are first priority, and they take this seriously. They will ask to email them. Nope. I'm not emailing Clementine anymore.

traumatizing. If you want to go somewhere just to learn others Ed habits, and leave worse than before come here! You may be ignored, hurt, and belittled if that's you're thing. This facility isn't healing it's hurting. - that one kid who stoped another patient from jumping off the 2nd story rooftop.

My therapist really did not know the difference between my eating disorder and my ADHD, and so I felt like everything was trying to train the ADHD out of me along with treating my ED. Because of this, I relapsed as soon as I left treatment. They were supposed to send me follow ups, but they did not. I ended up needing to help myself because my eating disorder got out of hand after treatment. I was able to self recover after 1 1/2 years of struggling following residential. I am doing so well now, and that is more thanks to myself and my own effort (and my amazing outpatient dietitian) rather than any work that I did here. Yes, Clementine is much better than many other treatment orgs, and my milieu was lovely and left me with lasting friendships, but this was not a great fit for me and did not give me the special help that me and my neurodivergence required. I really just went because my doctor wanted me to go. I was making progress with my parents at home when a bed opened up. I think my eating disorder would have lasted a lot less time if I had just stayed at home. Clementine just made me hate recovery and it took me a while to relearn that recovery is actually THE BEST THING EVER. I am so happy w where I am now, no thanks to Clementine. There was a super cool RC tho, who is now a therapist I think. Shoutout to "Martin".
