Cascades Outdoor Center

Our family stayed at the Westfir Lodge for three nights and it was honestly the one of the best vacation stays we've ever had. I hadn't been out on a trail in years but decided on a lark to try out the Alpine Trail at Noah's suggestion and I am beyond grateful I did. He personally picked up the mountain bike rental from the shop for me and then dropped it off after the ride. Petra drove me up to the trailhead first thing in the morning and couldn't have been more gracious. When the ride was over, I found my family dining outdoors on a plate of outstanding dumplings handmade by Tracey. They were all incredibly kind, personable and went way beyond what was necessary to make our visit enjoyable and I can't recommend the whole Westfir Lodge/ Cascades Outdoor Center experience highly enough. This place is very special and I'm already anxious to return.

Noah was an excellent guide for our shuttle out of the Cascades Outdoor Center. We had ridden in Oakridge before, but I appreciated that he had great insights into day of trail conditions (especially in late May, certain parts of the upper trail still had snow). He highly encouraged we try ATCA vs just Alpine, and he was 100% on the money. Cloverpath and Tire Mountain were both stunningly beautiful, quiet, and had great trail conditions. Great drinks and food at the Wester Fir Lodge when we got back. We will definitely use the Cascade Outdoor Center again for other shuttles in the Oakridge area. Service: Group tours
