        The manager was hustling, bussing tables, checking people in/out. Great attitude! It took my waiter awhile to get to me (the restaurant wasn't 100% full, but there were tables of people there). My food was a little "cool" like the butter barely melted on my pancake, but it was still good. I give them a solid 4 out of 5!

        It was a busy, busy day at the diner for a Saturday Brunch. Got a seat for a group of 5 within 15 minutes, good selection of brunch items, tasty and exceptional customer service. Server was busy but made it a point to ask for coffee every few minutes. Had healthy options too.

      In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Their mission was simple: create a fun and friendly atmosphere where the local community could enjoy huge portions of home-style cooking at a reasonable price. Today, we continue their mission at every Black Bear Diner across the country, as we passionately provide guests an outstanding experience.
