Lived here for one year and wouldnt go back. At first it was decent. Then I witnessed mice in my living room running to my kitchen stovetop for shelter. When I opened my stovetop cover there was a lot of mouse poop. I could also hear the mice in my bedroom scurrying around in the walls. My unit had a lot of holes in the kitchen - behind the oven, under the bottom cabinets, and in every room along the baseboard heating. My landlord had the holes filled. However, the mice still found their way into my apartment. They would often show up from under my couch. Sticky traps and the metal pedal traps did nothing. Maintenance would just place metal pedal traps around the rooms. My landlord had to get an outside exterminator, who left poison. However, the mice would still come even though it was clear they went in some poison (powder) but not the other type (small blue pouches to eat). Walls are very thin, so you hear neighbors every cough and sneeze. I would hear my upstairs neighbors loud footsteps as she wore high heels (I could tell by the clicking and clacking). I could hear my neighbors arguments through the vents in the bathroom every single morning. I would smell smoke in my bathroom and in my bedroom late at night. My next door neighbor would bang on my bedroom wall in the middle of the night. My mailbox would be misaligned every day when the mailman would put mail. So I had to push on my mailbox every time to align it back as I turned my key to open my box. I had roaches in the kitchen and bathroom but the buildings maintenance took care of that with spraying after I called. I would recommend calling them to periodically spray given its a shared building with other tenants and theres bound to be insects all the time wandering. The upstairs neighbors moved out at one point and then their toilet leaked into my unit. The maintenance team removed the ceiling panel to fix it and spoke with each other through the ceiling! So they definitely are aware of the poor insulation. Pets are allowed on the bottom floors of the building. For one week there was loud barking every day. Eventually it stoppednot sure if the owner got rid of the dog or what. Other than that the grounds of the building didnt show any waste from pets. The grounds inside and outside the building were well maintained. Parking was annoying sometimes since the main lot can fill up depending on what time you go to park and then youre forced to park in the far away back lot for visitors. They charge $100 to reserve the freight elevator upon move in and move out (that they supposedly use for repairs of the elevator) but then youre stuck waiting as other tenants and delivery personnel use the elevator during your reserved 4 hour time slot. That elevator was down for a couple months as well so I had to carry my heavy laundry basket up and down the stairs since the freight elevator was the only one that would go down to the basement. Oh and youre only allowed to move in or out on a weekday. Also, I wish pet owners were assigned washers and dryers to use, separate from non-pet owners. I found it annoying to open a machine and find a ton of pet hair. I do not want to wash my clothes in someone elses pets fur.

Management is terrible, cleaning is worst, and security omg. Only saving grace of the entire situation is the absolute blessing of the entire building which is Alexis the security supervisor. She handles everything to the extent you forget she is security while assistance from any other staff is always difficult to obtain. Im told her security company is leaving for another, so if that is true, there is no reason to even visit the site. Best just to avoid bedbugs while you can
