CHOP Primary Care, Haverford

Doctors are wonderful, communication is thorough and has always been appropriate with ages of kids (now preteen and teen) and getting them to understand what's happening at each visit, wait times are low, and office staff is very friendly.

We love our doctor, but the process and hoops you have to jump through when your child is sick is un-bearable and you will waste HOURS of your time just to end up going to Urgent care.

Very disappointed with poor communication. They canceled a crucial appointment twice without reaching out and didn't offer an apology. Disrespectful behavior

Such a difference from our previous office. Dr. Murray was very proactive & prompt with my concerns. I appreciate her kindness & look forward to having her as my children's new provider!

The doctors at this practice are wonderful, but the rest of the operation can only be described as careless. We waited for more than 45 minutes after our appointment time for a well visit. When I asked what was going on, they said we our visit had been marked as "completed" in the system. Obviously not...we had been sitting in the waiting room the entire time. Then, during the check-up, they actually input in results for a hearing test that was not performed. I had to tell the doctor that the test was not performed, which was confirmed my my six year old- but somehow, it had been marked as performed and normal. We've had other incidents of pieces of yearly well exams being skipped but marked in the system, but I thought I was just going crazy. This latest experience, combined with having absolutely no appointment availability when your child is actually sick, has me looking for better options. My kids even refer to CHOP urgent care as their "real doctor" because basically the only things we get done here is their yearly appointments. Of course they are very careful when collecting your insurance information, but that is where it ends.
