Took my 2 two old for a simple exam. Appointment was at 10am. When we walked in the waiting room was completely full. We signed in and filled out paperwork. Waited an hour, people that came in after us were going in before us to see the dentist. Went up to talk to the receptionist to ask when we were going to be seen that we had been waiting for an hour. The receptionist tried telling me our appointment was for 11am. I told her she was wrong that I had a text message saying when our appointment was at 10am. She then said they changed our appointment to 11am. I told her I was never notified. She was completely ignorant and rude to me. We left. Will never go back there again.

I wouldn't even give a one star. This place is horrible. My son had an appointment to be put under to get a cap put on. We sat there for over an hour waiting. On top of that they never faxed paper work I needed for his doctor's office. They are very unorganized.

I was speaking to the assistant one minute and then all I remember is waking up ready to go home. That's the best dental experience I ever had. If you need dental surgery I recommend you go here

2 trips, over an hour in one direction. The first time there was a note on the door that said they closed due to an emergency. They claimed my daughter and I didn't have an appointment, it was another day. My daughter had a major event on the day they claimed I scheduled. The second time, we were supposed to have exam and cleaning. They said there was an emergency, they couldn't do the exam, and we weren't scheduled for the cleaning. At the time we originally rescheduled, they said they would put us both in on the same day we were coming in for our cleaning. The cleaning was scheduled 4 months in advance. 2 hours round trip, twice for nothing. The girl at the desk, was on the defensive immediately, and very rude. When they were All About Smiles, they closed because they were supposed to take out 2 teeth on a very young woman. They removed them all, and she was getting married 2 weeks later. I would recommend going anywhere else.

The dentists come and go here, and all appear to be very young and rather inexperienced. I came here because this place was the only one that accepted my insurance. They told me I needed 13 fillings and 3 root canals. In hindsight, I should've gotten a second opinion. Regardless, 13 fillings and 3 excruciating root canal procedures later, I am left with fillings falling out and the tooth that required a root canal procedure now requiring extraction as the crown was hot garbage. I do want to mention that when they made my temporary crown, it fell off... numerous times. I waited over half a year before I got a permanent crown. They sent me to PITT dental because they were unqualified to perform a root canal surgery on my molar. The dentist at Pitt dental was amazing and actually was able to save the tooth, only requiring a deep filling. This office was unable to get me in for again over half a year, and during that time the tooth that the Pitt dental office saved cracked because it wasn't filled in time and I had to go back and get another root canal operation. I am going to state now that I am not racist in any sense and fully support diversity in the professional workforce. The problem is when these immigrant dental students hardly speak English and I am unable to discern what they are asking of me. I honestly have no issue with the dentists themselves, the problem is that they have the skills of student dentists charging the rates for an experienced one. One root canal, no crown included they tried charging me 1500$ even though we had insurance at the time. I originally was going to rate this a 3/5, but then I thought more and my score changed to a 2/5. Upon realizing that I have been wholly unsatisfied with their "work", I now rate this dentist office a 1/5. I hope things have changed but I wouldn't take the gamble.

Kenneth, I think you may have mistaken us for All About Smiles. The dentist at our Cunningham location has been at that practice for the last 2 years and prior to that, and the previous dentist was there was for several years as well. That doctor is now at our Cranberry location. We've also had the same dentist for the last several years at our Evans City Rd. location. As for as the price for root canals, we do not charge those fees and we refer within our practices, we typically do not refer out to Pitt Dental. Once again, I believe you are mistaking us for another practice.
