I had to find a new dentist and was easily able to get in at Dr. Swart. Her staff is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful from insurance to dental issues. Dr. Swart is a consummate, knowledgeable and kind professional. She spends time with her patients and explains everything. When asked her opinion, she gives it so that her patients can make informed decisions. I highly recommend this dental office.

I highly recommend Dr. Swart. Even though I was a last minute appointment on the first day of the new year she went above and beyond. She listened to my concerns, did a thorough analysis of the issue, and took the time to explain what was going on and what needed to be done. She referred me to a specialist periodontist and made sure they had a understanding of my dental history. I've never seen this level of efficiency and patient care - thank you Dr. Swart!

Shame on this dental practice for alienating and bullying their staff for their personal choices in regards to Covid-19! I also find it incredibly inappropriate to give out information over the phone about if the staff is fully vaccinated! The front desk receptionist needs to mind her own business and get a life.

I recommend Dr Swart to anybody who is looking for a caring, considerate and knowledgeable dentist. She loves her vocation and immerse herself in challenging cases. Never am I afraid to go to her practice! Her staff is just as welcoming and courteous. This is my further testimony: Dr Swart has been my dentist for the past 10 years. It must've been quite a challenge for her as I really have a problematic deep bite combined with weak teeth throwing in some gum issues, etc. She would always discuss treatment options with me, explaining pro's and cons. I never doubted her decisions and my teeth and mouth have never been in such a good condition as it is currently in. We unfortunately moved to another state, and I had to find a new dentist. At my first visit, I was completely taken aback by the non-communication and the almost rudeness due to them cramming in as much patients as possible. Deciding to try another, I again was struck with how much I miss Dr Swart and how easy my visits were with her. I was delighted by my new dentist complimenting Dr Swart's work and wanting to know who she was and even looking her up. This made me proud although I can't take even a drop of credit for myself. Dr Swart, I still miss you. Thank you very much for 10 years of excellent dental service!!

I decided to try a closer dentist and found Dr. Swart. This dentist did not show me my x-rays while telling me I had a "couple cavities". She just had me keep scheduling appointments for fillings. Against my gut, I let her do two fillings that oddly each took around an hour and a half apiece at different appointments. As someone who makes sure to see a dentist every six months, who takes great care of my teeth, and who hasn't otherwise a cavity in perhaps a decade I began to feel suspicious when she told me to schedule more fillings (but wouldn't tell me how many). After this, I decided to call the dental office and see if I could have my x-rays for a second opinion. At that time the office manager told me there were EIGHT more cavities that Dr. Swart was planning to fill (a total of TEN)! I canceled that next appointment and contacted my trusted, lifetime dentist. After looking at the x-rays from Swart's office, this dentist confirmed that there were NO cavities whatsoever. After looking at my old records (iTero images and x-rays), taking new x-rays and using the iTero to look at my tooth density, my trusted dentist informed me that the two fillings Dr. Swart did were larger than they would have needed to be IF there had been cavities. There appears to have been no reason to have drilled so deep into my dentin. Again, my trusted dentist confirmed no cavities, making sure to show and explain the images. Meanwhile, these teeth with fillings have remained sensitive while they were not before. In addition, I had found it suspicious that Dr. Swart's office was not at all busy; she only has one hygienist and dental assistant; no one else was seen in the waiting room or coming out of the office. Unfortunately, from here on out, having had these unnecessary fillings has shortened the life cycle of these teeth. As with any fillings, they will need replaced in 7-10 years, etc. I am only thankful I did not let her fill any more teeth. In conclusion, please do not go to this dentist. Make sure you find a dentist you can trust.
