    When you see country Inn and suites by Radisson, you think youre gonna have a pleasant day! The exterior building was beautiful. The absolute opposite happened inside. The rooms were old. The carpet needs to be replaced. Theres mold on the toilet back behind the tank. Theres rust on the floor the showers need to be re-drywall. The beds were the most uncomfortable thing I ever slept in not to mention I forgot a hair towel. I knew exactly where I left it and ironically the staff doesnt know where it is. Save your money save your stress enjoy another hotel and spend a few extra dollars. And I havent even mentioned the hot tub doesnt work. Youre welcome to stay there just know youll be staying with bugs!!

    I checked in this afternoon and my first room, #124, reeked with a strong chemical odor that was poorly masking the chronic dog urine smell, and the carpet was covered in stains. I reported this to the front desk and was switched to room #203. I dropped off my bags and quickly left for an appointment. When I returned and had a chance to unpack I found a dead cockroach on the wall and dirty sheets (human? hair and stains). So, I checked out at 8pm on 3/8 and am now staying at Tru by Hilton.

Hello SusanThank you for taking the time to write a review about the experience you had at your recent stay with us. We are sorry that we did not meet your expectations with your stay. I am a little confused about the things you have stated in this review, especially when you never brought an of these things up to me when you checked out with me the morning you left.We are in the process of renovation. By 2025, since we just became owned by Choice, everything will be changed around and new furniture will be put in the rooms.When you called in about the towel you are missing, my agent mentioned to you that anything that is left in our rooms after a guest has checked out, our housekeepers bring it down in a bag, with the room number written on it, and puts it in our lost and found, but there was no towel as you described in our lost and found. He also let you know we were going to have our housekeeper carts and closet searched just incase your towel ended up there. He also informed you that I would call the housekeeper that cleaned the room you stayed in, and ask her if she saw or found your towel. After doing everything we could to try and locate your towel, we did not find any towel in any of the areas we searched. I called the housekeeper and she said there was no towel left in the room you stayed in.Maybe you might want to try and look in your luggage or car again. We were not aware of it until a few guests started to tell us about it in the past couple days. There was something wrong with our hot water heater and after it was fixed today, our water is completely fixed and hot as can be.I am so sorry this happened during your stay. Hello Aubrey.Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your short time with us. We apologize for the issues you stated you had with both of the rooms you were assigned. The first room you told the gentleman who checked you in that the room smelled like smoke and animal urine, He went to the room with you to check the smell to see if it was the smell of what you were saying it was, especially when that room is NOT a pet room. And, our entire hotel is smoke free.He found nothing as you were saying, and we also had a few of our employees go in that room to see if they could smell what you were referring to as dog urine smell and smoke smell, so this way we would know if the room needed to be cleaned or aired out so we could rent it to another guest since we were moving you to a different room. The room was clean with no smell any of our employees could smell of dog urine, chemicals or smoke.We understand sometimes peoples smells are not the same, and since you had stated you smelled these things, we wanted to put you in another room so you would be more comfortable. The agent moved you to another room on a different floor. About 2 to 3 hours after your room was switched, you came to the front desk complaining you saw a dead roach on the wall and insisted on getting a refund and wanted to leave. The agent apologized and asked you if you if he could go to the room to get the bug off the wall. You told him you had a picture of it. He told me it was a picture of a bug, but he could not tell what type of bug it was, and he couldn't even tell the picture was taken from our room where you were staying. The agent called me and gave you the phone to talk to me. I had asked you if you had a picture of it, or could I have the agent go to the room to collect the dead bug off the wall. You said you had a picture so that should have been enough. I asked you to please send me the picture to my phone or email so I could take care of handling this whole situation for you. I wanted to do what we could for you, but also definitely have that picture for our insect company we deal with. I still have not sent me the picture you said you had of the "roach".Unfortunately I could not take your reservation down or refunded you.Your reservation was done through a 3rd party. We cannot touch reservations through a 3rd party, so he explained to you that you needed to call "Booking", the ones you booked your room with, to take care of refunds and shortening your reservation down."Booking" will call us to verify you did not stay with us, and they will refund you for tomorrows amount, since this evenings situation happened so late. We will let them know you are not using your entire reservation you made with them so then they have to refund you, unless you did a non-refundable. I will do my best to get you the refund back from them for the rest of your original stay.We are sorry you decided to leave before you would even give us the chance to help you get more comfortable.The first room you stated had the urine, chemical and smoke smell in it, we have rented that room to another guest tonight and they are happy with the room. They have not said anything about a smell.The room you were moved to from the room you stated smelled, 2 of us went to that room to inspect it for any roaches, or any bugs, and we found not one. Roaches you will find them mostly around refrigerators or bathrooms. We are keeping that room shut down until our insect company comes in later today to check to see if there are any in the room since you stated you found a dead one on the wall.We are sorry you had such a difficult time when you came to stay with us.
