Bill was awesome. Came to my house immediately and helped me quickly with my heat being off. Very personable and awesome guy. Would recommend to anyone! Affordable prices too! About a year later, had another small issue with my heating. Another awesome experience! Extremely personable and most affordable prices around. 8/2021 - I do have to edit my original review. After about three thermostats that still didn't work properly they quit returning our calls, my husband and I each called and left messages or talked to them, I had sent an email and they won't respond. So even though we paid over $2000 for the project, they won't replace the thermostat that is probably less than $50, so we'll have to call someone else to replace it. They initially did a great job, but we can't go through another winter with one of the thermostats not working. I highly recommend this business. Our furnace stopped working recently during a very cold weekend, and the plumbers I had used for previous issues were either too busy or not interested. I started calling places and they called right back and came that day. Our house is older and strange, nothing seems to be an easy fix, he was incredibly thorough and found the issue. Of course it ended up being a costly problem, as everything in this house is, but he provided options if we didn't want to spend that much at the moment. We did end up getting the big problem fixed, which included two thermostats being replaced. One of them didn't seem to work as well as the other, so he came out twice to adjust it until it was working as well as the other, and even sent a follow up text about a week later. We will definitely use them again for any other plumbing issues or updates. Service: Heating system maintenance

Well i really hate to have to do this review but the man that owns the company Preferred Plumbing his name is Joe Snedecker..not to be confused with the guy from Wnep Tv. He really disappointed me !! A good friend recommended his services, reason being hate to publish this but.. Seriously he could not give me a receipt after asking several times!. I paid cash in full for the job done .He sent a worker to do the job. He was a very nice guy at that ,we got along great. I paid for all the parts & i definitely feel i was taken advantage of. Price was extremely high for putting a small faucet in a bathoom sink and two shut off valves under it. I Even helped the guy with some things as he did it ... was difficult to get the old one off , i assited him & helped with the bar that goes up & down to help engage for the drain to open and close etc. at least 20 min or so of my time. When it was time to pay i was not feeling well i gave cash with out asking for my receipt(which is something i Never do- i Always get receipts!! )due to not feeling well and of course one was not offered. Also I think i was in shock as to how much it was honestly. I never expected that. I was worried about price to begin with . My friend kept saying don't worry about the price he will do it for him (me) practically nothing for as a favor formy friend. SO I Asked through my friend to get my detailed receipt from him Nothing. He said Joe asked for my email not true, i told my friend i was never asked and i don't do e-mails send me or i can pick up? Or he can even drop off. I then sent all my contact information along again Nothing. I gave him time. I didn't want to involve my friend anymore i appreciated his help. I let a little time pass I contacted owner Joe. He gets back a few days later by text of course, he states he didn't call me back on the weekend he was or has been sick....sick same here buddy!! No reason not to send my receipt but i was nice and did not say those words i was still patient! Gave information Again! I sent it along & Let him know i really wanted to speak with him over the phone about a few things texting gets misconstrued. We never actually had a phone conversation not because i didn't want to. I Let him know of my displeasure in the text and i said i would think he wouldn't want customer to be unhappy Still he failed me! Unbelievable still gave him time i had this job done in March that just about 4 months ago. So I'm sorry i would not recommend Preferred Plumbing!! Maybe he has done good work for other people. But $250.00 for a bathroom faucet and i wasn't even able to even discuss anything with him but he did say i got a good deal. WOW REALLY what if i didn't know my friend what would the price have been and also if i didn't buy all the PARTS. HE'S A JOKE ! AND NO REASON I CANT GET A RECEIPT.!! And not on purpose but it happened his worker goughed the heck out of my 2 toned expensive sink that i had made a point to make him aware that already had a small knick in it previously from my uncle . So he really should of been cautious. I have our texts. And pictures but the damages do not show well on the photos because of the creme color of sink. So i did not post them. He doesn't even know this because i wanted to tell him on the phone and i did not even expect him do do anything about it honestly because i was able to tell right from the jump he is not a good buisness man in my opinion from his actions. The worker may have not known he damaged it ? I'm not sure but if he did he never said. I noticed it later when i had to clean up his mess that he left behind. Joe does seem to be a hard worker i will give him that he teaches classes as well and keeps very busy and seems to be a good family man but would he want someone to do this to his wife, sons ?
