Bike Works | Doylestown

Paul Turner did an amazing job with a bike fit on my over 20 year old Raleigh road bike! Today was my first ride after the changes! It was perfect! I rode 41 miles through PA and NJ! I am thrilled! Also Dan at Bike Works in Newtown and Paul in Doylestown are a dynamic duo! I am so grateful for their expertise!

We have 3 boys who ride their bikes to school and elsewhere. Theyre hard on them! We have taken them to Bike works now a 3 times and have been impressed each time. Knowledgeable, quick, and so reasonably priced that it makes no sense for us to ever try to fix the bikes ourselves. Lol

Awesome local bike shop. I love trying to fix things myself, so my rear wheel was wobbling. I take apart as much as I can but get stuck trying to remove this one piece. So I called bike works explained the situation they told me to bring it in, an hour later Im there and within two minutes of walking in the door they hand it back to me with the piece off. I ask what I owe, no charge they said. Since I had the tool I just couldnt get the leverage to remove the piece I wanted. Great!!! Above and beyond what I expected. So I get home start do my handy man work finished up go for a test drive, still wobbly as hell. I wave the white flag and call in the professionals, I call bike works and explain I just cant complete the repair and I need help. I brought the bike in and had it evaluated and the next day they call and say I need a new wheel. Thats why theyre professionals I was working on the axle and other parts when what I needed was a new wheel. They quoted me around 220$ but would call if it was more. They called today and said it was ready and I asked the amount and they said 142$!! They even tightened my breaks and adjusted my shifting. In this day in age to come in under an estimate is fantastic and shows theyre not a money grab business but rather one that actually helps and contributes to the community. I almost exclusively ride with my trailer attached and two sons in tow. So a couple hours after I got it back we took it for a test drive, and this thing is better than when I bought it, so smooth! I will be a forever customer whenever Im over my head and in need of a professional. There are a lot of business who by the nature of having a business are presumed professionals in that field and that is not always the case. Bike works in Doylestown is that professional that you can actually trust. Anyone who needs bike work in the central bucks area I would highly recommend.

Everyone who works at this shop was so knowledgable, helpful and friendly today. Embarassingly, I think I returned three times because I kept on realizing that I had forgotten something or had another question. Ill always go back and wouldnt hesitate to send anyone there.
