My neighbor and I just used McKay's for removing 4 trees and grinding the stumps out at our properties. Mike returned my calls promptly and came out for the estimate when promised. They notified Pennsylvania One-Call to come out and mark the underground utilities before any work was done (don't want to accidentally chew up your gas line with the stump grinder!). They did a great job removing the trees, grinding out the stumps and roots and were very conscientious about removing all of the debris from the yard and sidewalks. Pricing was very fair as well. Will gladly use them again and would readily recommend them to others. Service: Tree removal

Mike does great work, and he was very responsive and helpful in cleaning up after a major storm when a large tree landed on my deck in May 2019. In fact, he came to my house about 30 minutes or so after I contacted him. But when I hired Mike to return to do more work in the fall of 2019, he started but never finished that second job. I would give Mike 5 stars for the first job and 1 star for the second job for his unresponsiveness and for collecting a disproportionate share of the money under the contract without finishing the work. To complete that second job, Mike told me that he needed to return when the ground was harder to avoid damaging the ground. That made sense, but two hot ground-baked summers and two cold ground-frozen winters later, Mike couldn't seem to find even one day to return. I did trade voice mails with him only once very early on, but since then my multiple phone calls and voice mails to Mike have gone unanswered. I now need to hire someone else to complete the work for a lot more cost than what Mike agreed had he finished the job. Given the time that has passed since then and my delay in writing this note, I hope that Mike is okay and that this message finds him well.
