The Wellness Institute of Chester County. Massage Therapy School

The experience and education received at The Wellness Institute of Chester County was far beyond what I could have expected. Within the 10 month program I have learned about the history and important role that clinical massage & bodywork plays in our overall well-being. I also learned proper body mechanics - an important aspect of this profession that promotes longevity. When it comes to human anatomy, I am much more well versed than just knowing the thigh bone is connected to the hip bone. I also know a lot more about pathologies and contraindications, as well as the various modalities that can be incorporated into the massage sequence. Throughout my education I had the opportunities to participate in a chair massage event at a senior center and offer sports massage to athletes at The Philadelphia Eagles Autism Awareness event at Lincoln Financial Field (Go Birds). A cadaver lab was also offered at Rutgers University, as well as the opportunity to see The Body Worlds exhibit. Several speakers and practitioners of all modalities came in to share their knowledge and experience with the class. And even more importantly than the education gained are the relationships that were formed while at The Wellness Institute. Personally, I formed life long relationships with many of those that I had the pleasure of learning and working with. And it was because of these relationships that I was able to work through some of my most challenging life experiences to date. It was also because of The Wellness Institute of Chester County that my mental, physical and even spiritual health have been restored. This is not just a learning institute, but a place that truly embraces the craft of clinical massage and the human spirit that drives us to be the best version of ourselves! This was truly a life changing experience due to the passion and commitment to bolster the field of clinical massage that is shared by: Robyn Zappy, Dr. Joseph Zappy, Dr. Andrew Morgan, the instructors, and the classmates I had the pleasure of meeting and working with at The Wellness Institute of Chester County.

It took me a month to write this review because I wanted to give it the focus and attention that it deserves. The level of training and education that I have received is unmatched. I say that because all of my clients respond the same way. The best massage they ever had, has been the general consensus. Its more than a massage. I literally fix people and they see results immediately. Its because of The Wellness Institutes knowledge base that I was able to build upon and evolve as a therapist in just 30 days after graduation. I couldnt have found this level of training, anywhere else. I am appreciative of what was poured into me as a student. You cant go wrong attending the Wellness Institute of Chester County. You owe it to yourself!

Just graduated and it's the best decision I ever made! My class was just the right size and we ranged from 25 to 56 years old. This is like no other school out there. Lots of job opportunities right away.
