I applied May 28, 2021. I remember the date because I kept a copy of my application. I didn't hear from them for about six months. My voicemails were ignored. They started calling me around Christmas 2022 -- a year and a half later -- to see if I was still interested. I said not really, not after all that time. They called me in the Springtime 2023 to see if I was still interested. I said please stop calling me. Today I got a notice from B'nai Brith telling me that my application was being closed because I didn't respond. My B'nai Brith application dated May 28, 2021, was being closed as of August 2, 2023 for "non-response" at least a year after I told them I was no longer interested. I can only imagine trying to recover a rent check that got misplaced in the office.
