We built a modern farmhouse in the mountains with black windows. Inside the house is designed with open space and windows so that we could receive natural lighting and see the trees and the wildlife without curtains blocking the view yet protect the interior of the house from UV rays from the sun. Melvin Milne, the owner of Budget Blinds of Lion County & Altoona, provided us with excellent consultation and a van load of samples to our home in Huntingdon, Pa. Recommending a window film to block UV rays but not affecting the appearance of the window plus with hidden black blinds that could be pulled down for privacy; and with excellent workmanship, service and pricing, we could not be more pleased. Quick, easy, immediate service made this project enjoyable.

Melvin did a great job! We needed full privacy blinds in our office but the windows weren't conducive to that. Melvin thought outside the box and made it happen! I feel like he went above and beyond to get us exactly what we needed. Him and his team were also so kind and friendly.
