I had the best experience with Samantha at Ulta. I love my brows after the lamination service. She is very professional and does excellent work! She is so kind and makes you feel comfortable.

Terra Walker gave my fiance the best haircut he has ever received! She was super friendly, took her time, and even styled his hair! Im super amazed I will be coming back for sure!

Ive gotten my hair colored & roots touched up by Terra a couple times now.. and i must say i LOVE her work!! You can really tell she loves doing what she does. She talks you through what she is doing with your hair, which is very helpful. Being a POC in an area where theres not that many stylists that look like you, Terra made me feel very comfortable and trustworthy. For all my POC girlies in the Johnstown area, Terra is your girl!! -she does it all!!

I had two gift cards to use so I went there yesterday looking specifically for face wash and moisturizer. It is just overwhelming when youre not sure what you are looking for. After 10 minutes of looking around I finally went to the counter and asked for help. She showed me some stuff. Said wel this is the expensive side and down there is more like Walmart stuff. So I continued to look and finally someone who was walking around said do you need help! Well there was hardly anyone in the store, maybe 3 workers standing around. I said Im looking for a face wash and she said what do you want it to do. Ok really?! If I was using my own money I would have walked out. So what I bought was an impulse buy because I had no idea what I was buying!. If they were professionals you think someone would have took some time and helped me with the right product. Ill go back to boscovs where Ill get one on one professional service.

WORST Ulta Beauty and beauty store in general experience customer-service wise. The two rude employees were "Jericha" and a tall older lady with a dark bob cut. And she had this judgemental tone of voice. I was looking into one of the salon mirrors from a distance, I wasn't sitting down in a chair or messing with anything within the salon. And I was ridiculed by the taller older lady with the bob cut irritatedly told me that i am NOT allowed to use the salon mirrors and should be using a different mirror. Mind you, my boyfriend just got his hair cut right before that. It was the WAY she said this. Like I just danced on the salon table She just always acts annoyed and isn't very pleasant. I think employees should strive to be kind and have LESS attitude when they communicate with their customers who are just on the search for good quality products. There is just a way to go about things. During one visit to Ulta, all I was doing was testing a tester and "Jericha" came up to me, fuming. This woman's breathing was so unsteady because of how upset she was. She ridiculed me for using the one of many testers for it's exact purpose (it was brow gel) which is preposterous. She then proceeded to mention the day before when she had came up me and told me to be careful putting lipstick on my lips since there are "kids that come in here and stick every product up their noses and wherever". So, this being the next day, I didn't put the lipstick directly on my lips and I spray the stuff usually with alcohol beforehand. Then she ranted about how she has "SEEN me come into the store and put my stuff down and try on different makeup..." Like it's a crime when I'm a paying customer. I told her that yes, I prefer to try out the makeup when I'm in the store cause it saves the time hassle of returning. Because really who wants to make constant trips to Ulta for returns? Not me. I've gotten products that have irritated my skin or just don't look right before too from this store. She then proceeded to say that I basically leave the store in dissaray which perplexed, I replied, " No, I don't." Because everytime (even that day) I make sure to put the items back in their place. While this caught me completely off guard... my boyfriend and I had been noticing random judgemental stares and glares our way before this incident. Then the employee, Jericha told me that there is a "Liability policy". She had a blatant attitude. When we were making a return before, she also said "There's a LINE" in a very not nice way. I felt so uncomfortable after that I immediately left the store confused. I called customer service support for ULTA and a representative told me she knew NOTHING about a "Liabilty policy". My boyfriend also went back into the store and asked one of the other employees about the "Liability Policy" mentioned by Jericha, and she said she wasn't sure if they even had one and said that it is OKAY to use the testers since they disinfect them anyways.... I think the employees could use more effective training and could be a bit nicer. The employees could pay better attention to the people with kids who are "shoving testers/products up their noses" instead of people properly using there testers. And maybe, informing the customers nicely about things before you jump the fence. Jericha could have kindly offered to help me try on some makeup I was looking at with "cleaner" products if that was her concern but this is what she resorted to. After all, I feel like most people could agree, that when you go to a beauty store you want it to be enjoyable and easy. This ulta was givingg... exactly not that. The lower ratings from other fellow customers point out the same reason too: the rude staff. The hair stylists are sweet and helpful though!
