With a history rooted in excellence, our journey began by pioneering a employee group benefits administration, compliance, enrollment, and premium billing platform more than 20 years ago called MyEnroll360. This platform, with an integrated solution for individual premium billing for HR needs such as  retiree billing and leave of absence billing, was initiated in collaboration with a U.S. Federal Agency. Notably, 24 years later this agency continues to entrust BAS for an array of benefits administration services, underscoring the reliability and value we bring to our clients.

In 2004, building upon our legacy of excellence, BAS unveiled Cobra Control Services, LLC (CCS), a wholly owned subsidiary specializing in comprehensive COBRA administration services. CCS stands as a testament to our commitment to addressing the diverse needs of our clients. Meticulously managing General Rights Notices, Qualifying Event Notices, Premium Billing/Collection/Remittance, and delivering unparalleled Employer & Continuant Customer Service, CCS operates with the guidance of in-house ERISA Counsel, ensuring legal compliance and precision in administration. As with all BAS services and MyEnroll360 solutions, BAS/CCS’ solution is firmly seated in MyEnroll360’s single, unified database to ensure data normalization and accuracy.

Demonstrating BAS’ adaptability and innovation, 2021 marked a significant milestone for BAS. A prominent disability insurance carrier sought our expertise in handling unpaid Leave of Absence (LOA) billing for their employees. Rising to the occasion, BAS designed a tailored solution to meet the unique requirements of the carrier and its clients. Our solution involved mailing LOA notices with precise premium payment coupons based on each employee’s specific payroll schedules. Further, concise communication is integral to BAS’ approach, as BAS prioritizes conveying essential information to both clients and program participants. BAS’ communication strategy encompasses a spectrum of critical elements, from welcoming letters acknowledging leave dates and continued benefits to flexible premium payment options, late pay & short pay notices, and coverage termination notifications for end of coverage periods and non-payment situations. To offer maximum convenience, we empower employees & retirees with a variety of premium payment methods, including personal checks, bank electronic payments, and user-directed ACH payments set to debut in Q4, 2023. Our robust banking operations facilitate seamless & secure  payment processing with swift account balance updates, further enhancing the participant & client experience.
