I loved this place! The house was beautiful and was starting to be decorated for Christmas. We were welcomed by the owners' kids We stayed in the Whitetail Deer Suite. It was very comfortable. We stayed with our dog, and this suite had a private entrance. The morning breakfast was beyond our expectations. So delicious Loved the cows The grounds were beautiful, as was the view of the lake across the road. Extra bonus: I saw a sign by the road about pies. I inquired at breakfast about taking one home. Karen made us one and had it ready by checkout time, still hot! Yum. I 100% recommend Berry Patch!

We stumbled onto this charming Bed & Breakfast last spring. We were having a get together with some of our friends from Milton Hershey School. From the minute we arrived, Karen and her son (we hadn't met her daughter yet) made us feel welcome and at home. The room was clean, spacious and decorated like the beach. (We are cruisers, so we felt at home). A sweet treat was found in each room when we arrived each visit. (Decadent) Breakfast both mornings was delicious. Since then, we have been there 6 times. While Karen was out of town her mom Francis hosted and was just as endearing. (And a wonderful cook as well.) We have now stayed in By the Sea, The Whitetail Deer room, English Meadows and the Cottage for Two. All are clean, comfortable, charming and spacious. We have three more stays booked before the new year. Last but not least.... be sure to schedule a massage with Karen or Honey. Both are wonderful treats.
Nearby activities: Not far from Hershey and all the chocolate you could want and Milton Hershey School and Museum. The story is wonderful.

Booked a late reservation for a spur of the moment anniversary celebration, and Karen & staff were so accommodating!
Things we did that Berry Patch B&B worked with:
We Booked the Night-Of : Communicated with Karen directly by calling the number on the website and was able to make a late reservation. Luckily, they had availability for the exact room I had hoped for!
We Arrived Late : I estimated an 8 PM arrival for check-in and we ended up around 9PM instead. Karen took the initiative to coordinate a check-in long after staff had left the office. She was there to greet us and let us into our room. I was so thankful (and also very relieved).
We Departed Before Breakfast : During my reservation with Karen, I stated that we would be leaving at 6 AM, missing breakfast (sadly, we did not call off of work). She said the B&B had grab & go items in the event that guests had to depart early, which I was more than fine with. However, upon arrival - I found two ham, egg & cheese sandwiches ready in the mini fridge for us to take in the morning. I'm not sure if this is standard hospitality at this B&B, or just a gesture of kindness. Either way, we both ate our sandwiches once we got to work and they were DELICIOUS.
Overall, it was a wonderful stay! The bed in The Lavender Room was SO comfortable and the soaking tub was a bonus. They have all the amenities you need - TV, microwave, minifridge, blow-dryer, and plenty of towels. No need to bring a case of water because the tap water is safe to drink (cups provided). We will be definitely be returning! Thank you Berry Patch!
