This free preserve is managed by the Open Land Conservancy. It offers 1.5 miles of unpaved trails winding around a meadow, small wetland and a creek. This land was farmed for 300 years, including a dairy farm that existed into the 1940's. The preserve wraps around a residential area and has several entrances. The best entrance for seeing all 3 nature environments is at 1494 Tree Line Drive, which is residential street parking. There are no restrooms or amenities. The trail was not well-maintained in parts. Dogs must be leashed and biking is prohibited.

This preserve runs along Valley Creek. During my walk I saw a great blue heron, deer, ground hog, lots of birds and signs of beaver. Limited parking, few trail markers and a lack of map are the only real negatives about this preserve. The lack of a map is not realy a major problem because the trails do show on Google Maps.

Not well maintained and its in the back of a neighborhood we made it like 500 feet before we decided to take our dog to the park instead.
