        Just received an incredibly terse response from this firm. Asking simple cost questions and they referred me to an outside law firm. They surmised I was a low value customer and did not want my business. They were wrong! I recommend you stay away from such arrogance. Quite a few other lawyers available with out atttude! Dr. JOHN Your response is not correct. Your receptionist was very indifferent and condescending. The rhetoric doesnt cut it. Let the buyer beware ! (response deleted for some reason)

As you know, you had not retained an attorney from our firm, but had inquired about our billing procedures and insisted on being provided with a total quote for the costs of representation—before any attorney was able to review your matter in full. Our staff was upfront and honest with you as they politely explained the nature of our billing rates and procedures. Given the unique nature of your matter and the potential for unknown or unexpected issues to arise, they advised you that they could not quote you an exact, total fee based upon your initial phone call. Unfortunately, for certain legal services, it is not possible, for a number of reasons, to provide an exact quote for the total fee for representation at the very outset of the matter. Because our staff understood you required certain parameters for your representation, our staff politely provided referrals of other attorneys who we thought might be better suited to work within the parameters you outlined and who we hoped would be able to assist you.
