Regarding Billing Only: My husband received an annual checkup with the Smile Team on a Saturday. They ran his insurance, and it didnt go through. I verified that his insurance was active on Monday. This morning I called to check if they had received payment and they confirmed that his insurance is active. I was also told that they cant request payment after the date of services because they would need to change the date of those services, which is illegal. I explained that billing is rarely done on the spot, and that most doctors/ dentists bill after the date of services. The key point is, Was there active insurance for the date of services, regardless of when billing occurs?

Ive been coming here for about three years and have tried to stick with this place since the location is convenient for me, but every time I experience the same thing - waiting over 45 minutes after my appointment time to be seen & a very brief and rushed cleaning.

I recently booked an appointment to get a root canal done i was of course turned down because since i just turned 21 my insurance doesnt cover root canals. This is not the problem couple weeks before this appointment I had some fillings done at my local dentist everything was okay and no fillings were needed. They took my x-rays and told me I would need braces again and also told me i needed multiple fillings and would have to come back on the weekend because i had multiple fillings that needed to be done. My friend is a dental hygienist so she does my cleanings half of the time, I went to get a cleaning from her there was no sort of any cavities that needed to be filled and not only did she check my teeth but her teachers which told me i have no sort of cavities and my regular dentist said the same thing so this company has lied to me saying i had multiple cavities and if i wouldve went to that appointment who knows what wouldve happened to perfectly fine teeth.

RUN DONT WALK!!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! After seeing first hand the way these people treat patients I have no choice but to believe all the 5 star reviews are phony. My grandmother has gotten her dentures replaced 4x until they finally shaved them so thin that they cracked in half while she was eating almost causing her to choke. Waiting time to be seen is ridiculous, even with an appointment. Everything is unorganized. No one introduces themselves to you, just walking in and out of the room. In one visit, my grandma saw 4 different people and doesnt know who any of them are. All they care about is money and pressuring you into making payments without even ensuring quality care. It has been a nightmare trying to get appropriate functioning dentures which has caused her to be unable to properly eat for YEARS!! She finally got fed up and went yo another dentist who was able to get her quality dentures in one week! SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN THEY ARE TERRIBLE
