This hotel is located right on the Temple University campus and it is super convenient.
Rooms: My room was spacious and clean. The decor in the main part of the room was a bit dated, but the bathroom looked like it has been renovated fairly recently. The room was neat and clean. I appreciated the in-room thermostat, that I could adjust in the chilly January temperatures. I couldn't figure out how to get the TV working. Maybe the remote just needed new batteries?
The hotel service was basic, but the hotel staff were generally friendly.
There was no in-room safe or fridge. There was an ironing board, iron, and hair dryer, all of which were in working order.
The bathroom was small, but clean. The pedestal sink had little room to put things like a toothbrush. The bar of soap provided was about the only thing that fit on the sink. There were travel-size bars of soap, shampoo, and lotion provided and replenished as needed.
There were four pillows to choose from on the bed, plus some accent pillows. I personally found the mattress too soft, but that is just personal preference. I used the extra blanket in the room and although it appeared clean, it seemed to have an odour (maybe from a previous guest?), so it probably needed to be washed. I appreciated that each day of my stay the blanket was neatly folded by the housekeeper.
This is decent and clean place to stay. It is not fancy, but the location is super convenient if you have a reason to be at Temple University.
