I've been suffering from a hole in my lung for over 3 years. Despite my declining heal, deterioration of my lung and other organs, the ever increasing hole has been dismissed as a bleb. I have over 30 years of pulmonary experience as a paramedic who teaches and specializes in vent transportation of the critical ill. I've documented air escaping into my neck, head and spine and it's debilitating symptoms. Yet. Mary and her associates refuse to do the simplest of surgeries to save my life and return me to health. I was told to get a second opinion only to be greeted by a thoracic surgeon who received a call from Mary stating I didn't need surgery. This treatment is unacceptable and borders criminal. I would strongly recommend not going to Jefferson for thoracic surgery or even a hang nail at this point.
