I rented some gear for my proof of concept film, and Alex was unbelievably kind and accommodating. He worked with us on our budget and was communicative throughout the process. While I was there, David was super helpful as well, and he answered all of my questions. I'll definitely be doing business with The Camera Department again in the future.

Absolutely great customer service. In 20 years I have worked with many great rental houses but the extent to which TCD cares about the client is unsurpassed. They take pride in their work and their ability to pivot when the cinematographer asks for something that was previously undiscussed, for example. :) If it's at all possible, they will make it happen. Their professionalism is reflected on-set in countless TV, movie, and commercial shoots that have gone smoothly in part because the proper camera gear was well-serviced and made available, often times at the last minute, and in a small market. I always have a great experience and I hope to continue working with them for many years to come.
