Monongahela Incline at Upper Station

Riding the incline is a true Pittsburgh experience. The Monongahela Incline is more convenient as a means of transportation since one can ride to the bottom and walk a block to hope onto the T to head into downtown or the North Shore. The view from the Duquesne Incline is the typical view people associate with Pittsburgh, but the view from the Monongahela Incline is equally beautiful as seen in the accompanying photos.

I didn't personally ride this incline (I rode the Duquesne one) but you can still get phenomenal views from the top here, so do check it out!

My experience was wonderful. My mother, nephew, and I went on the Mon Incline today just to go sightseeing. We saw the Overlook on Grandview Avenue. And, got ice cream on Shiloh Street.
