Tuff Shed Pittsburgh

Looked at all the competition at last year's Pittsburgh Home Show and the Tuff Shed product was far and away superior (only one I saw with a galvanized steel frame, vs. wood, metal framing inside the door, etc.). The local and regional Tuff Shed staff were extremely helpful and professional, especially with getting a building permit from the City of Pittsburgh (anything over 10 x 12 needs a permit). Always a fast response for any question, and the finished product is as well made as promised. You may pay a little more for quality, but its absolutely worth it.

Great experience working with Tuff Shed and my design consultant, Joe Quinlan. The quality differences were obvious from start to finish. I met Joe Q. at the Pittsburgh Home Show, where he spent time showing me the quality differences in his product vs the other shed companies also on display. Never once did he talk down about his competitors; to me thats a sure sign of the confidence he has in his product. I made many, many changes to my design and Joe was always quick with new pricing and images for me to review. He made thoughtful suggestions about my choices, based on him listening to what my actual needs from a shed were. I was thankful for the guidance as there turned out to be way more to think about than just size and color. Then Sarah, in Customer Service, kept my project on track with permits and installation scheduling. On installation day, the crew (Bryson and Tyler I think) called to let me know their ETA and showed up ready to work. The weather did not cooperate, but the guys worked between the rain drops and made sure to keep the material dry when the rain was too much. When they were finished, the end product was better than I had been expecting. Previously, I had one of those Amish Built sheds that are prefabricated and delivered on a trailer, completely assembled. The Tuff Shed materials, from floor to shingled roof were noticeably better. The shed just feelstougher. Also, I highly recommend working directly with your local Tuff Shed office instead of the big box home improvement stores. There were a number of options that I did not see offered elsewhere. And if youre lucky enough to be in Joe Quinlans territory, ask for him. Lots of knowledge, thoughtful design questions, and no pressure. Its hard to get such a winning combination of service and quality with most companies these days. And No, I do not work for them and was only asked politely to complete a review.

If you want outstanding customer service work with Jenn Talmage at Tuff Shed. She was patient, informative, friendly and made the shed ordering process insanely easy. I read up on the product and knew I wanted to go with Tuff Shed and Jenn was like the cherry on top. The communication has been amazing and the timeline even faster than expected.
