J Wilson was the most responsive and professional of several "slate roof specialists" I contacted. They were also the one I've seen servicing many of the homes in my neighborhood. They were on time for the initial inspection and the day of the repairs, which turned out to be several weeks earlier than quoted. The team that came out were very courteous and explained exactly what they would be doing. They even cleaned and straightened the gutters while they were up there. I should not have put off calling them earlier and will now be calling them annually to maintain our roof. Give them a call, you'll get what you pay for with total peace of mind! There are not many slate roofers left. My main house and six outbuildings have slate roofs. I get repairs done every year. I find Jeff and Rob to be reliable and they come when they tell me they will come. The work crew is professional and craftsmen at performing the repairs.
