        Unexpected overnight stay here after a harrowing drive during a winter storm deemed it unwise to continue on the roads. The front desk clerk was very kind and welcoming. I found the facility and room to be very clean, breakfast was as expected compared to other Marriott properties. I did not use the pool but it looked clean and well maintained. The gym was very clean and spacious with ellipticals, treadmills and stationary bikes, handweights and two benches. They have enough space for a universal/multistation gym, perhaps in the future, one will be added. I would not hesitate to recommend Fairfield Inn, Somerset, PA, to anyone.
