They weren't charging my rent and had the audacity to accuse me for late rent when I already gave them my bank info. They recently changed companies and not everything followed them. If they had incountered a problem, I wished they would have told me ahead of time, not at the very last possible minute. I even signed a new lease, for next year, and where I was unaware I had a balance due. Thank you Tremont! For having me sign a new lease without telling me of your rent problem. Warning! Their mistake could ultimately cost you thousands It's an okay place to live but there are problems regarding the unit such as broken doors, paint all over the place, and a maintenance request on hold for a very long time.

Trash is always piling up on the property making it hard for residents to dispose of trash, but will threaten residents for putting trash next to the overflowing dumpsters.

Never EVER live here. This is by far the worst apartment complex to live at. I have lived at this complex for two years only because they had cheaper rent, however the other random expenses this complex will thrown at you will make your total bill skyrocket. The apartment I lived in was a small four bedroom two bath, which somehow brought in a total of $800 worth of heat and electricity. More than the total rent. If you think you want to live here because the rent is cheap, they will overcharge you with utilities and other random expenses. Within one week of moving into Tremont my entire apartment flooded because because the pipes are over 30 years old and should be replaced every 10 years, however they have never been replaced since the buildings were built in the 1990s. This is information I got from maintenance staff. Maintenance has also informed me the complex is not well-maintained, and there is no one to maintain it, because they simply do not care. The only reason why my apartment was in any way salvaged is because my next-door neighbor happened to live in the exact same apartment the year previous, and the apartment flooded on him so he knew how to shut the water off. Tremont gave us no compensation and left us in the flooded apartment to clean it and maintain it ourselves. I tried to speak with the manager to see if they would even clean the floor, to which they responded soundly no. They would do nothing. We are not the first apartment this has happened too, we were informed this has been happening all over the complex due the fact that the pipes are so old and have been disintegrating. Within weeks after that event, black mold had taken over the entirety of our water heater closet as well as other parts of the apartment, the only resolution Tremont came up with was to replace the water heater door, which does not even close properly. The apartment was not cleaned prior to my moving in even though they charge you several hundred dollars in cleaning fees, there was a used retainer sitting right in the middle of the closet. The floors and walls were disgusting, there are hair and bugs that have been painted over instead of taking the time to wipe them off first. Overall, my personal experience, it is clear to me there is very little care for the people who live at this complex or for the complex itself. My advice, steer clear of Tremont at all costs!!
