    The front desk girl was very unprofessional.She told me a tech was unavailable when he was right there on the phone and I was willing to wait. She just kept telling me a price to diagnose my computer.

    Brought in a brand new PC build to identify which part was faulty as it was not turning on. Was told it would be $60 to diagnose and 2-3 days. A week later when I called it hadnt been looked at yet and I was told tomorrow. Then I get a call saying it would be OVER $300 to diagnose because they have to take parts out, even though that was obvious was the very beginning. I had even narrowed down parts that were already replaced and ruled out. I was not offered any solutions, just thanks for the $60 and exactly where I started a week ago.

    **EDIT** Currently, with their new system and limited experience I would rate Nerds-to-go a 3.5. I could easily see how they're a four to five star business under normal circumstances, but I have no experience with the company under normal circumstances. Their pleasant staff and customer service is great. After I left this review the owner reached out and left me with a better understanding/experience. Still, be aware of steep prices and a new system **EDIT** The process with Nerds-to-Go has been frustrating, which is sad to say because Kim at the front desk and Iquil, my tech, have been so kind. It took over two weeks, $240+, and many, many calls back and forth to unfortunately not even be able to repair my computer. The crux of the issue seems to be the new system they just switched over to. It took a long time to get my ticket started, it charged me roughly $300 instead of the $230 I was told I'd be paying, and even sending an email seems to be far harder than it should be. I really was looking forward to my experience, because like I said the folks working here are great, but the process has been nothing but frustrating. The phone tag in particular led to a lot more confusion in the process than it should've.

Abija, I'm sorry you had a poor experience. Iquil (our tech) was on the phone with another customer when you came in the store, so he was unavailable to speak with you at that moment. Of course you are willing to wait if you wanted to speak with him, but even as I write this, he is still on the phone with that customer. Hi Ed,I just called and hopefully we can connect later next week, but the $300 we called about was for the fix, not the diagnosis. We tried all the fixes we could without having to tear the machine apart, unfortunately, they did not solve the problem so the next step would be to removal of the motherboard, which would involve completely rebuilding the entire machine. That is very time intensive especially because you have a liquid cooled machine, and so we were checking to see if you were interested in spending that money to fix your machine (keeping in mind the diagnostic comes off of your charge, so the fix would have been cheaper than $300). That was the fix we were offering. I hope to connect with you next week so we can discuss this further.

Gaven thank you for speaking with me. As discussed, we did just recently switch systems and there have been some growing pains. You literally were the first customer in the new system, lucky you! That is not a normal experience. I do apologize for the issues around our new system. Additionally, as we discussed, you were charged $219+tax for your ticket which was agreed upon. You were double charged (again issues as the first customer in the new system) but that has been refunded as we discussed. The ticket was not $300 but the $219 that was agreed upon.
