Our family has been seeing Dr. Lachman for 15+ years. He has always been helpful in any eyecare issue and we've always been happy with our care!

I have been going to Dr Lachman for my annual eye exam for several years. He is the most thorough optometrist I've ever seen as a patient. I definitely would recommend him. Also, having read the other reviews, I am puzzled by some comments about the administrative staff. I have just never had any of the problems described by a couple of the reviewers. I hope things work out for those who have experienced problems in that regard.

I like Dr Lachman, he’s an outstanding optometrist, my issue is that I repeatedly told the people calling to confirm my appointment that I didn’t want to change it and I would call them if I could. I spoke to more than one person when they repeatedly called me asking me to change my time. My appointment was scheduled a year in advance. I guess the person they wanted to give the appointment too was more important than me, because even after I repeatedly told them not to change my appointment, they did. Now the poor front receptionist is looking at me because there’s nothing she can do, and I am mad because I kinda knew I was going to get screwed. Oh their call note? Of course they back themselves up. I am angry right now, and can’t say I’ll be back even though I like the doctor. So if you choose to go here, he’s a good guy, but please call in and reconfirm yourself. Make sure to take down the persons name date & time. Maybe even record it? But in the end you may still get a sorry look as there’s nothing the poor receptionist can do of the person who gives away your appointment likes the other patient more than you.
