Lynwood Inn

Such a sunny and positive experience!! Innkeeper Cathy was so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. Room was comfy parking was great. FANTASTIC location!

I stumbled upon the Lynwood Inn while looking for a place to spend a few nights with my daughters as a final trip before my oldest leaves for college. From the moment I spoke to Cathy and Dan I was blown away by their warmth, welcoming feeling and accommodating willingness to make our dates work! Upon arrival my daughters and I were blown away- the room far exceeded our expectations- it was newly renovated, had a full size fridge, a cook top, was airy and beautiful and had an amazing porch for us to enjoy. The location is amazingly and perfectly nestled between Long and Short sands beaches and a short walk to Nubble Lighthouse but is also peaceful and quiet because its set just enoug off the main path that theres no traffic. Its absolutely heavenly. On the day we checked out we were fortunate enough to see Cathy as we left and we had a lovely conversation which left me feeling like she was more family than owner of an inn we rented from . I cant wait to return again many times over and I am beyond grateful that I stumbled upon this hidden gem. Thank you for providing us the perfect place in the perfect location for a wonderful family trip.

Just returned from a wonderful 4 days visit to the Lynwood Inn. There are new Innkeepers, Kathy & Dan, who are just the nicest and most accomodating people. They truly make you feel like a family member. We stayed in Room 1 which had recently been renovated and it was just perfect for a family of 4 plus a dog-- yes, they are dog friendly. The room was spacious and clean. Had a very beachy feel to it. There's a kitchenette w/a full sized fridge! We had a really large porch too. The location is very close to Short Sands Beach (may be a 5 minute walk). I understand they have recently renovated another room and during their quiet season, will continue renovating all the rooms. The price is just right here too. I really can't say enough good things about this Inn. Definitely worth checking this place out! You won't be sorry! Rooms: Spacious and clean Nearby activities: Beach, downtown area. Not much further to Long Sands Beach too. Safety: In a very safe location Walkability: 5 min. walk to Short Sands Beach

Very spacious room with a nice clean kitchenette. Very comfy bed with very nice sheets. They were kind enough to let us into our room early, which was extremely helpful. Easy to get to the town and beach. We would definitely return

Our room was dirty! There were cobwebs in the corner of the kitchen. Staff was friendly but they did not provide us with breakfast as advertised. Strangely, theres no housekeeping # to call to ask for things likeclean sheets, new towels, etc. Theres staff who will provide things like that if you ask but apparently their policy is to NOT clean rooms while you stay there?! Location is convenient but doesnt make up for the lack of upkeep of rooms. Very outdated furniture and it smelled faintly of dog. Had AC on and second floor room facing garden but still stuffy and smelly. We will not stay there again!
