Nick's Beachside Grille

After our 5th time coming here we have tried most main menu items. Our favorite dishes are the fried chicken sandwich, burgers, and fish and chips. On the drink side the sand bucket for 2 is a nice refreshing cocktail. Last night I ordered the steak and fries and was pleasantly surprised how delicious it was, the steak was cooked to a perfect medium just as I ordered and the fries were crisp and seasoned properly. They get busy in the summer just as every other restaurant on the seacoast so service may take a bit longer but I've never left hungry or disappointed.

Nice dining experience! My cousin and his girl took David and I out to eat here while visiting us at the beach. We enjoyed the food and experience. David had a burger, my cousin had a haddock sandwich, his girlfriend had lobster Mac and cheese while I enjoyed a flatbread pizza. The food is definitely on par for a beach establishment catering to a huge crowd. I liked the rustic tavern atmosphere and the prices are what youd expect for York. Definitely check it out when at Short Sands.

A great place for a quick bite or dinner. Very good Gluten free options. Dietary restrictions: They have a lot of Gluten free options.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. There was a piece of metal in my beach fries. I was chewing and bit into the piece of metal. It hurt. Wasnt a great experience to bite into something. Our waitress offered to rectify the situation by giving us half off the fries. I requested not to pay for the fries at all, and I was surprised they did not offer to make it right with picking up the check, since we did not finish any of the food. Since the incident made eating there any more impossible. The place was hot and understaffed. Which I dont blame the waiting staff for at all. But it was slow and it wasnt crowded. The margarita was good. But after biting into a piece of metal, my appetite was gone. My kids did not enjoy their pizza or tenders.
