        This shop is interesting, not really knowing what to expect from a needlepoint shop. The needlepoint supplies are sold here can there is wall-to-wall canvases which are prepainted by local artists. Basically, you buy a canvas, your thread and needles, and be ready to stitch. When you're done they can be framed or turned into 3D animals, small pillows, etc. The selection they have available is immense and amazing. The pictures range from animals, scenes, signs, even local things. The only thing that really turned us off was the high prices of all the pieces. Most ranged from $50-100. The store owner was helpful and friendly. A really unique idea I may want to try.

        I have been going to the Picket Fence for 35 years. Linda and everyone else there really know their stuff. Everything is beautiful and high quality. If she doesn't have it, Linda will order it for you. And the finishers do beautiful work! Highly recommend for needlework and fibers.
