Theres dogs who hate baths and then theres Milo. I truly didnt think I would ever trust someone to bathe/groom him, but Joyful Grooming was recommended by my trainer. Hes my adventure buddy and is always getting dirty. They are very knowledgeable with anxious dogs and change how they approach grooming based on their individual behavior. I cant thank them enough for giving him a much needed clean! They have so much patience and id recommend them to everyone.

I would give a million stars if I could. Renee does an excellent job and clearly treats every animal with the kindness and gentleness they deserve. She takes the time to answer questions and give advice (which we greatly appreciate as first time dog owners) and is someone who truly puts the animals well being first. So grateful to have found Joyful Grooming!

Renee and her team are totally amazing! Our Fox Terrier is a very anxious little girl. Shortly after we adopted her from rescue, it became clear that she suffered from severe separation anxiety as well. We began working with a Fear Free trainer to help her overcome it, but it was a really long process (about two years) and progress was very slow. Meanwhile, she needed regular grooming, but I was really nervous about bringing her to a groomer, and our trainer had some specific requirements (no crating, no being left alone, etc) for the grooming process. Renee arranged to meet us alone in her studio for Stella's first visit, and she was so supportive of Stella and all of her requirements. Fast forward two years, and Stella goes to Renee about every two months and does awesome. I wouldn't take her anywhere else for her grooming, and I'm so thankful to have found Renee.

Renee and her team are awesome! We have been going to her for over a year. This grooming parlor is the only one we have ever taken our Persians to where they haven't come home completely traumatized. You can tell they really love animals and treat them well - and if it wasn't for the keen eye of Renee, we wouldn't have realized that our cats had a few health issues that had popped up that we were then able to treat. We will continue to go back again and again - it is rare to find a groomer that even accepts cats, let alone one that puts them at ease. If you're looking for a good, gentle groomer, Joyful Grooming gets two thumbs up from hubs, myself, and Sir Champion Floofypants/Miss Gingerbread Cookie. EDIT in 2022 - my original review was done in 2017/18. I wanted to update to let anyone curious know that we are still going to Joyful Grooming and still very happy with Renee and her team. I think a sign of a good business is the amount of repeat customers, and we're going on 5 years plus with Renee and highly recommend.
