        Isolated lighthouse on Dutch Island which is visible from the shore at Ft Getty in Jamestown, RI. There is a boat launch at Ft Getty so you can kayak to the island about mile from the shore. Plenty of parking and best to view/visit off season to avoid any park fees and crowds from the camp grounds. 4 stars since you cant get right up to the lighthouse.

        Google Maps actually sends you to the campgrounds and pavilion at Ft Getty, where you can view the lighthouse from across the bay. Be sure to head south a few miles to the 3rd oldest lighthouse in the US at Beaver Tail.
