Alexandria Hawk Dog Training

Alex is simply the best! She worked wonders with our dog Milo when we were at our wits end. Her way of being playful but also assertive really speaks to the dogs in her care. After attending puppy class and having a personal training session, he was a different dog. She brought a list of ideas that speak directly to Aussies, so it was personalized to his specific breed and not just a general training session. We learned so many tools we use to this day! We also send Milo to puppy daycare where Alex works and he runs in to see her :)

We have taken group obedience classes with Alex as well as private training sessions. Our dog Pippa loves Alex (more than she loves us). Alex is very knowledgable and we appreciate her positive training practices. Lastly, we like how Alex follows up training sessions/ group classes with notes that summarize what was learned and what we can do to practice with our dog. We highly recommend Alex as a dog trainer.

We began working with Alex in July 2021 in a puppy kindergarten class and then followed her to more advance courses she was offering. We also work with her for on-on-one training. We couldn't be more pleased with her positive reinforcement dog training style and how it has helped shape our puppy (now almost a year old), grow into a happy, obedient, and well loved dog. We think the training sessions have had a direct impact on curbing some unwanted behavior.

Alex is a great dog trainer and always puts your dogs well-being first. Our dog, Riku has struggled with reactivity for years, while we were making some progress on our own it was nothing like the improvements weve seen since working with Alex. I highly recommend her and her methods!
