Bloom Preschool

Amazing experience with both of our kids for over 3 years.

Terrible, terrible preschool. This was once a good school, though things have changed. What was once a nurturing environment has turned into a school with little supervision, shoving kids outside without regard to the weather. There are also frequent reports of children being injured while the staff does nothing. One child earned themselves a concussion, my own child was also hit during their stint at the school. Avoid this place at all costs.

We were part of the Little Friends/Bloom family from October 2011 to February 2013.  We did not come from a Waldorf background, but were very impressed with how this program instructed our son.  As with any organization, this is largely the product of great people who understand how to balance.  Bloom is reflective of the efforts of the faculty and teachers who have continually put the children first.The head teacher (Ms. Barbara) is a very well respected educator throughout RI and the Northeast.  Can't recommend her teachings enough.  Since it's expansion in Fall 2012 as Bloom, those programs have expanded to include more after-hours events for parents to join their children in.  They taught us as much as the kiddos.Bloom is fantastic and we miss it everyday.  If you're lucky enough to have a little one under 6, you won't be disappointed.

Our kids have really developed at Bloom. They enjoy the nurturing atmosphere. This is our last year with them because our youngest will be in Kindergarten in the spring.
