I reached out to Rob for a couple quotes on some older windows that had broken during a wind storm. He called me back within a day and asked what I needed done/set up a time to come look at it. He showed up when my roommate was home, inspected the windows, said it would be no problem, left his business card and stated he would follow up with some quotes. I have followed up via email and phone for the last 4 weeks and heard nothing. I explained I would just like a call back if he cant take on the work right now but he couldn't even send a courtesy call or email.

We hired Rob and his crew at Heritage Restoration to restore 6 windows in our house and they did an incredible job!  The took the original window sashes out and back to the shop where they completely stripped the lead paint off and re glazed them like new.  Then they sanded out the jams and placed metal tracks with a tongue that rested in a groove in the window so there was no lead paint exposed at all even if there had been any under the tracks after the sanding.  They also placed pins in the windows and drilled holes in the jam so the windows now slide smoothly and stay up firmly.  I will say that they first attempt at installation did not go well but they did everything necessary to make sure I was satisfied and in the end I was super happy with the work. They do other types of general contracting and I will definitely be hiring them in the future.
