The Bodhi Spa Providence

Luxury spa that feels luxurious! This was my first time at the spa for a couple's massage. Immediately after checking in, we were allowed to change in the locker room which I was assigned a locker. The locker room had nice amenities. We were left a comfy robe and sandals in the lockers, and then were able to relaxe in the spa lounge area while we waited. The lounge area had reclining chairs, water, and tea. Our massage was great, the masseuse checked in with me a couple times to see how I was doing. Pricey, compared to other massage options, but in my opinion, worth it if you want that elevated experience. I'd like to try the water journey next time as I've heard great things about it.

Handled everything expertly poorly. They will cancel your session if they feel as if you have an attitude. Yes I was upset when I went in due to how the front receptionist handled everything. I was never able to put any of my stuff in a locker or even change my clothes. Kylie had an issue with my tone & was apparently upset with me & refuses me a facial service. Im wasted my time, gas & all that for nothing. I was simple upset due to the fact that I was rushed immediately into the room without putting any of my stuff away. The assistant manager seemed to not even care with that I had to say just told me I had to leave. Now I wonder if this is discrimination I will be speaking with my lawyer about it. & will be following suit. Okay enough I happen to be African American in a very non minority establishment .

Booked couples massage 3 weeks in advance. Took time off of work, arranged child care, got a hotel and traveled in from Boston. Appointment was cancelled 6 hours before appointment time same day on their end ( policy states if as a client you cancel within 24HRS a 50% charge is due) however, no discount was offered by them for canceling same day. Insult to injury- a secondary appointment offered (which was not an hours couple massage but instead two separate 30 min massages) and when agreed to take the appointment within 3 minutes, it was booked. I will not be back, and will never send anyone here again. As a business owner, i hope you change your policies to cover mishaps on your end, not just to penalize the clients. Whats good for the goose is good for gander, and unfortunately i will not be spending my money at either location ever again.
