Perfect description of what I would call east coast Mexican. I was visiting Providence from California, and was looking for something (hopefully) inexpensive, and relatively quick. While I was hoping Viva Mexico would check those boxes, it didnt. Before I even had a chance to look at the menu, I was asked if Id like some chips and salsa to get started apparently a $14 side that was not even close to being worth $14. The chicken burrito, which was $16, tasted okay, although paled in comparison to almost everything Ive had at home. Overall a disappointing experience, especially for spending almost $40 with tip at the end of the night, as an individual.

Amazing service. Amazing food. Family recipes always make the experience worth it. And the staff was exceptional. We will definitely be back.
