Had initial consultation conversation with Dr. Achina. Information received regarding getting off venlafaxine was very helpful! ( Ive been working on it for 5 years) She recommended her book to focus on testing to determine why my body isnt producing neurotransmitters. I have it ordered and will share with my practitioner. She is the only person Ive found with the knowledge and know how to get off antidepressants. I highly recommend her!

If you are willing to put in the effort and have patience with the process, Dr. Stein is the right functional medicine physician for you. She and her staff are excellent! I've been working with her for 10 months and can't say enough about the care and treatment I have received. She's extremely thorough and takes the time to explain things in terms you will fully understand. I feel the best I've felt in years and can say without a doubt, it is the result of the work I've done with her.

I have been working with Dr. Stein for about 6 years now. Where the mind and the body meet is where she practices. Life is not linear. Simply point A to B. Nor is your health and health plans. Causation medication that is practiced in this country and Western medicine doesnt get people better, it addresses symptoms. With Dr. Stein and her integrated approach is to find the cause and potentially rid of the symptom without the standard approach of simply prescribing which ultimately leads you down to a repeated pattern of not getting better. I highly recommend her when the medical doors of life have been closed on you so with her you can find the one door that may be open but was never looked into. Take a chance.
