image Updated review:
I have lived here for ~9 months now and while I understand a lot of the other reviews have some build quality issues that need addressing, I personally am happy with the units and the amenities.
Having an additional trash dumpster near some of the back units could be a good solution to the distant trash compactors.
The gym has come a long way with added equipment, notably a peloton with free membership. It is standard size and equipped as far as apartment complex gyms go. A path from building 2 to the gym would be nice, as is you need to walk all the way around.
The staff and maintenance team are stellar and very great to work with.
I have had issues with some of the residents around me with noise at unreasonable hours and smoking (this is a no smoking complex). The staff has helped address these issues promptly.
The rent price for what you get is at market rate, even slightly below.

image We moved into the Christine Apartments in June 2023, into the first building that opened. I wrote this review to be honest about our experience. Some of the recent good reviews are suspect because they have started raffling off gift cards if you give a good review. This makes me worry tenants will not be honest with their reviews. I reported a few reviews and they were removed since they were made by employees of the owning company. The John Flatley Company is the owner and developer of the property.
One of the main reasons we moved here were the promised amenities. These turned out to be our main issue. It took a while for the property's amenities to be available to us, and some are still not as advertised. Nearly none of them were available when we moved in. As time has gone on most amenities are available but are too small for the money we all pay.
The pool and fitness center are too small to accommodate the amount of tenants living here, current and future. When the pool finally opened it was not open during the hours discussed. It is nice to have but was crowded at times when only two buildings were open and there will be eight open this summer.
The fitness center has a nice range of equipment but the space and number of machines is lacking for the current five open buildings. It will be even worse when all eight are open; some people hog the weight area.
There is only one tennis court, it is closed during fall and winter. Many people used the court in the summer and there was not enough space for everyone. There is only one area for garbage for the property. Eight buildings sharing one compactor for trash and one for recycling that is poorly lit. Half the tenants have to carry their garbage far to throw it out. I've asked management if this would be addressed, nothing is being planned. We were also promised a security booth that is still not open.
The apartments are nice. Modern and spacious. They are described as luxurious which is a generous term. The buildings are cheaply made and as time goes on we notice corners have been cut. Less than a year in and we have seen building wear and tear with a normal amount of use and the elements from weather.
The cabinets are not finished. The floor's glue is still seeping up between the cracks. It takes a long time for hot water to arrive. There is no tile backsplash next to the stove so the wall gets stains all over it when you cook.
Emotional support/service animals are welcome with proper paperwork, but we have noticed dogs who likely are not registered with management. We find poop bags left on the property. Management does respond quickly when reported. We would like to have an announcement of a plan so this is not abused.
We knew there would be ongoing construction. This has become more of a bother than expected. The crews sometimes leave hazards around. Light materials have not been secured and have been blown around the property, striking cars and buildings. There are no traffic lines and zero signage for the safety of the community.
I don't want to write bad reviews, but when I see the issues and see they are holding raffles for good reviews I worry attention is being directed to the wrong place.
I can say that the people in maintenance are great, responsive, and helpful. The management team on the premises is helpful. They have gotten better over time. I believe they are limited in their ability to make things right due to the owning company. John Flatley Co has been frustrating to live under. They are out of touch and you can tell they cheaped out on this property when they could have added amenities that supports eight buildings of people comfortably. They chose to go small. We are disappointed and hope management looks into maintaining everyones rent accordingly. We know that probably won't happen. We hope they start doing the right thing by tenants, but we don't have faith that they will.
All this to say, we do like living here. But the rent feels too high for the location, size/availability of amenities, and other issues we've had.

image I moved into building 3 at The Christine Apartments in September. The building staff and maintenance have been very attentive and great. Easy to reach and quick to respond. Very nice and helpful! The issues at this apartment complex are out of their hands sadly. At first look the apartments are great, but its little things that take the quality down.
Ill start with the good side of this complex. They allow service and emotional support animals, which was a big deciding factor for me. There is plenty of parking, the garages are nice and convenient, the bathroom and bedroom are very big. Lots of natural light in the apartments, new appliances and nice, modern color scheme/decor. Again- the staff is very friendly and helpful.
The day we moved in, our unit had broken tiles in the kitchen, ink splattered on the floor, our dishwasher was dented (which we told would be fixed as we were receiving our keys and still has yet to be fixed), our patio doorknob was misplaced and there were holes right through the door to the outside, our bedroom door didnt stay shut, uneven doors on cabinets and bedroom/closets, and Ive also stepped on staples or nails sticking out of the carpet where the carpet meets the hard floor.
The trash is very much an issue (as stated in just about every review), so I wont say much more about that. When a new building moves in the trash and recycling get extremely overfilled and there is trash piled outside of the dumpsters. The dumpsters are poorly lit and have high walls surrounding all sides, and at night I dont feel the safest taking my trash there alone.
The pool is very very small for 8-9 buildings full of people to use. I was extremely excited to use the pool in the summer, but have a feeling it will be too over crowded. The location is a bit inconvenient right off the trail- but you clearly know this before you move in so I dont mind the extra half mile to turn around and go north.
This complex had/has a lot of potential- but seems it was thrown together too quick.

image I've been been a resident here for approximately 6 months, and here is my honest, truthful opinions/thoughts on the community.
First & foremost, I'd like to address the utter harassment myself, and multiple individuals in the community face from a specific neighbor. Regardless of how you attempt to get away from the conversation, this woman will follow you & talk your ear off until the end of time. She yells, she chases your car while you drive away, she follows you while you attempt to walk away, and overall doesn't understand when to stop bothering people.
The trash situation? God awful. There is *ONE* trash compactor that is *by the entrance* for the entire community. It is insanely inconvenient for individuals like myself who run on very limited free time to put nasty trash bags inside of my car to drive to the entrance of the community to dispose trash. The solution that was proposed was to *ADD* an additional $25 to everyone's rent for a trash collection service. The service would require everyone to, *leave their trash in the hallway* between 7a-9a to be collected on specific weekdays. Disgusting.
As of late, the cold weather has brought icy conditions after rain/snow storms. To my understanding, there is an outside contractor the property has hired to maintain snow removal. Every morning after a snow storm, the pavement in front of building 3 is absolutely COVERED in ice. Just yesterday, I witnessed a poor woman fall on the ice while attempting to clean her car off. For paying over $2,000 in rent, I would at least expect the pavement to be clear from any hazards during the winter.
While getting the keys on move-in day, one of the property managers advised us that our dishwasher door had a dent in it, and promised it would be replaced as soon as possible. 6 months later, the door has not been replaced. Our carpet leading into the bedroom is evidently cheap considering that the lining where it meets the doorframe is torn. I would also like to mention the ink splatter that is all throughout the kitchen floor that was found when we moved in.
I've had nothing but constant issues with the "1GB of WiFi included in rent special" initially, I was given the wrong WiFi modem. They are assigned to specific apartments, and I had the one for the apartment across the hall. Secondly, I've had Cox come out countless times to address the intermittent/slow WiFi speed issue. It's still very present.. & We've changed hardware, wiring, reset WiFi routers, and even put new fiber wire in! Still has not resolved the issue.. Now, I'm stuck paying an additional $15 a month because of whatever that was put in isn't covered by the apartment.
As far as the amenities go? Where is the ice rink that was promised? What's going to happen in the summer time when you have 9 buildings attempting to use a pool the size of a bathtub? Better yet, what about the gym that holds about 12 pieces of equipment? The more you read, the more you'll understand that the rent is absolutely outrageous for what you're receiving.
The location is awful. It's right off of the Wampanoag trail, and the commute to Providence requires you to go all the way up the trail, and then all the way down to get to I-195. Paired with the RIDOT disaster that is currently on-going..? Good luck.
This place is far from luxury, and I genuinely would not recommend it until things start to shape up.
For what is asked for a 1br apartment, you'd expect a lot better than what you get here.
The buildings are absolutely thrown up in such a careless manner. Corners are cut, and every windstorm the molding on the exterior is ripped off.
On the other hand, I would specifically like to mention how helpful & empathetic the office staff are. I can understand that a lot of the issues listed are out of their control, and they do strive to make the environment the best possible. The complex is new, so I do hope for understanding within the reviews, & positive changes.
