Absolutely awful experience with the owner, Zeke. I had a bad experience with my discovery flight because of many different factors and called to see if I could get a refund. The person at the front desk was polite and heard me out, but when the owner, Zeke, called back, he was extremely aggressive, did not want to hear me out, and kept dismissing my experience and gaslighting me. Did not offer me a refund, and instead told me they needed me to prove citizenship if they're going to endorse my logbook for other flight schools. Like???

I've been wanting to learn how to fly since I was a kid. But it never seemed like I could fit it in. This year my wife set up a surprise discovery flight for my birthday. It was incredible! My instructor, Brian, was fantastic. Super chill, friendly, encouraging, and supportive. I'm surprised how much I actually got to fly the plane so early in my learning process. (And was a little more nervous than I thought I was going to be!) However, Brian's skill and relaxed approach made the entire experience an absolute joy. I highly recommend Horizon Aviation's discovery flight and Learn to Fly program! My only regret is waiting so long to do it!

Went there for CFI rating which I didnt get. Charged for even talking to the instructor however. Spent 2 grand for nothing. Vicky was the instructor. Very unprofessional staff. Very bad experience. So I had to transfer to california to complete my rating.
