Butler Marine

Sales team Lindsay was great, but parts and service are horrible, had boat in for warranty work where parts had to be ordered for completion. As of this date it has been over 24 months with no response from Butler Marine as to status of parts. Have called and even responded to request for survey prior to completing review (gave them time 18 months to correct issue before completing survey) to respond or provide the parts so that I could replace now that I have moved out of SC.

I had been fighting an overheating issue for a while. Keri got my boat in and out and working great in just a couple of weeks. I appreciate the quick and great service.

I would suggest going somewhere else. What started off as a decent experience turned into a nightmare. The one young lady in service was very nice and quite capable. First off we took the boat back in for the same problem (motors) we had last year which cost us a lot of money, This year the same problem was covered by warranty?? All said and done we were told it was a different issue, not so. Then as we were picking up the boat we noticed damage to the trailer which they did fix on the spot. We took the boat directly to the water and while installing the plug noticed damage to fiberglass near the bottom of the hull. Called immediately and the nice service lady said bring back on Monday, this was on a Friday after having no boat for a month. While test riding to see if the motor issue was fixed we noticed a crack in the fiberglass on the motor cowl. Bottom line took the boat in for repair and ended up having 3 places of damage. Last but not least dont bother talking to Chris Butler as he still is a used car salesman and from the other not so good post I never see him accepting blame. Overall not worth your time or money.
