        Theresa White is an unsung hero in our community. Under her leadership, PAFEN is now reaching out to many Sea Islands to teach them what Theresa has learned and implemented on our local islands. There are many volunteers and agencies that Theresa has tapped to create a network to educate the Gullah/Geechee communities on their rights/duties and available resources to manage the land that has been in their families for generations.

        They are doing excellent work, for the Gullah people in South Carolina. If anyone is interested in donating please do. Some of the residents are in jeopardy of losing their property after it has been in their families, for generations. As always big money and gentrification, is trying to take over their land, and leave them helpless and hopeless. Any help would be appreciated. You can find their story on Facebook, Google or the internet.
