We had a wonderful outing with Eric. He shares his passion and wealth of knowledge while taking you to the most interesting places to photograph birds and wildlife. Truly a memorable and exhilarating experience! Would do it again without hesitation.

It was an unforgettable three hours touring the Lowcountry around Pinckney Island with Eric Horan. Eric masterfully combined an expertise of the area and its inhabitants with an easygoing nature that kept us informed and engaged while still providing the space (and camera angles!) to enjoy the scenery to the fullest. What a terrific experience and we hope to be back again next summer!

My husband and I had a wonderful time on an early morning boat tour with Eric last week during our visit to the Lowcountry! As a pretty new birder, I really appreciated Eric's ability to identify and point out different species, as well as his knowledge about the birds in the area. Since it was a private tour, it was very peaceful out on the water and a wonderful way to see birds that can only be seen by boat. We saw many different species including Marbled Godwit, Whimbrel, Willet, Short-billed Dowitcher, Brown Pelican, Black Skimmer, Gull-billed Tern, Laughing Gull, Ruddy Turnstone and more. I'd love to take another tour with Eric and highly recommend his tours!

I have been going on photography excursions with Eric Horan of Lowcountry Photo Safaris for over 10 years and it seems like my experience gets better with each trip! My recent photo safari was unbelievable! Eric has great knowledge of the lowcountry, the waterways, and animal behaviors and he will do his best to get you into position to make memorable images! I highly recommend Eric and Lowcountry Photo Safaris to anyone interested in having a great photographic experience!

Erics tours (I have done four) never fail to delight me. He is a master of the tricky waterways in our area and is a master birder. Photographers benefit from his skill in finding and identifying birds, along with positioning the boat for optimal shots.
