We were so pleased with our experience with May River. They were a joy to work with and very helpful. We used them for both our kitchen and again in our master bath.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! So, my wife and I selected these guys, frankly, because they were the cheapest(by a lot). And yes, we've learned our lesson. You absolutely get what you pay for. Jeff, the "President" and head sales guy(and boy, does he SELL, SELL, SELL) was charismatic and enthusiastic from the beginning, giving us the full court press, charming my wife and assuring us the best quality fabrication. It initially gave us confidence in his company but eventually he just seemed like he was constantly shoveling B.S.. (which, in our opinion, he was) I'll try to make this somewhat short... We selected some gorgeous high end marble from AGM. We figured the fabrication was the easy part, so what's the worry. Well, it turned into a massive mess. The fabrication was total amateur hour. The marble in all the baths had been broken and epoxied back together. And, what's worse, they didn't even match the grain back up when they glued it!(see photos) Then, they hoped we wouldn't notice. The fabrication for the kitchen and pantry was even worse. Either due to inexperience, improper handling, improper tools, of whatever, they managed to create hairline cracks through nearly ever section of the marble. It was literally crumbling apart by the time it made its way into our home. Since they did the install while we weren't there, their first strategy was to tell us it came out great. Once we saw it in person, we objected and they blamed our contractor (for standing on it during painting?!)....then, they blamed the marble, saying it was sub-standard quality. Eventually, the owner simply threatened to sue us if we didn't pay him in full. What's more, even after welcoming/inviting/insisting that he come out to the home himself, he actually refused to come and look at the install. Yep, that's right, even in the face of our concerns, he never was even willing to come see what the finished product looked like. He said he stood by his workers. We've since learned that he's actually fired/separated from those very same fabricators! But, never a call to us acknowledging that they screwed up or that he was sorry. As he was telling us it was nothing to do with his team, he was busy firing all of them. (at least this is the alleged story some industry folks told us) I could go on and on. It was an absolute disaster. We've since had all the marble pulled out and replaced. It was a sin, as this was such beautiful marble(when we bought it). I never write reviews like this because, frankly, everyone has a bad day and every business can struggle. I like to give folks the benefit of the doubt. But, in this case, I'd advise just using another fabricator. Jeff wasn't professional enough to face this issue head on and try to find a remedy for us. I though long and hard about writing this review. It's a tough thing to post. Listen, there are tons of fabricators in town and if this review helps you avoid an experience like we had, then it was worth the aggravation. Good luck with your project!

What an incredible experience working with May River Granite! They by far exceeded our expectations from picking our granite out to the template and the installers were the best we’ve ever had. Very professional, detailed, and cleaned up everything very well.
