Church Street Inn, Ascend Hotel Collection

What an amazing hidden gem! The room was fabulous, and so was the service! The location is perfect! I can't wait to stay here again!! Rooms: Master bed/bath downstairs and living room, kitchen, and powder upstairs. Walkability: Right in the middle of everything. Food & drinks: So many delicious choices.

Location is A+ and the front desk went above and beyond for us. Very quiet rooms, super comfy beds, and great views!

Some small issues in the room, but overall a good stay in a very convenient location with a great staff.

We were given a room without being advised that it was a 2 story with stairs to get to the bedroom. We are both in late 70s and not able to drag suitcases up a flight of steep stairs. In addition we were quoted a price for the room then card was charged additional $150 deposit without our knowledge. We were advised we could keep car in garage next day at no additional charge then charged an extra $ 20. Garage also not connected to hotel and not easy to get from garage to hotel. We were credited the extra fees but overall very unpleasant experience. Rooms: 2 story - not appropriate for all especially seniors. Walkability: Had to walk a half block with luggage in tow from garage to hotel

The rooms are quite old and shabby. The first room had a strong smell of mold and a very strong cleaning solution. Stacey could not have been nicer about it. The second room did not smell of mold but still had that strong smell of something they use to clean. Stacey made the stay great with her friendliness and good customer service. Give her a raise!
