        Bar Vaute, located behind a heavy curtain in the basement, delivers on the promise of a super speakeasy vibe. Music sets give a very St. Germain feel and the eclectic glassware, seating, etc contribute to the overall ambiance. Jennifer, behind the bar, hand crafts some amazing cocktails and engaged guests with smart, edgy, entertaining conversation. Jennifer knows her way around the bar but is equally well versed in the brasserie located up top and serves as a great ambassador for both Bar Vaute and Brasserie La Banque. We shared a cheese plate and delightful cocktail concoctions and left both happy and impressed. So glad we added Bar Vaute to our cocktail hop list!
