        Forthehounds is a wonderful organisation dedicated to saving retired racing Greyhounds.I adopted my ( current and first ever) Greyhound Finlay from them.He is a the best dog I 've ever had! Absolute joy to have around and very sweet and calm.The people at for the hounds WILL MATCH YOU WITH THE RIGHT DOG FOR YOU AND YOUR LIFESTYLE! They will also take other pets in the home into account( cats/dogs).Since they get their dogs from the racetrack you can even get to pick your future dog almost exactly down to size and color! They will let you meet and interact with their adoptable dogs, so you can be confident about your choice.I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to adopt a dog, especially if you never had a Greyhound before: They are big, beautiful,very gentle and laid back dogs who love people. These dogs will find a place inside your heart immediately once you meet them!
